By default, Merlin is connected only to the XpertEye knowledge base. However, to unlock its full potential, you can connect it to your own business tools and documentation platforms.

   – The integration of Merlin with external systems is not enabled by default.
   – Your contact at AMA will configure the connection securely with your IT team.

2. Define the scope of integration
   – Select which repositories, folders, or document categories Merlin should access.
   – Ensure sensitive or restricted data is excluded if necessary.

3. Authentication & Permissions
   – Your IT department will validate access permissions (API keys, OAuth, or SSO depending on the tool).
   – Once configured, Merlin will start indexing the content for future use.

4. Test the connection
   – Ask Merlin a few questions related to your internal documentation.
   – Verify that it retrieves the right files and extracts relevant answers.
