How to start a session?

Starting a session in XpertEye is the first step to collaborate, record, and document your field activities.
A session is your dedicated workspace where you can:

  • Invite colleagues, customers, or experts

  • Or work independently to capture and analyze your interventions.

Starting a session from your computer or mobile

  1. Log in to xe.live from your computer, or open the XpertEye mobile app.

  2. From the dashboard, click “Start a Session.”

  3. Configure your audio and video settings (camera, microphone).

  4. Choose how you want to work:

    • Solo session to record and document independently

    • Invite participants to collaborate in real time

During your session

  • Capture media: Record videos, take photos, or capture audio on the field.

  • Annotate: Add written or voice notes at any time.

  • Invite more participants: Send invitations by email or SMS to experts, collaborators, or clients, even during the session.

  • AI-powered features: Use live translation or get real-time guidance with Merlin, your AI assistant.

At the end of your session

XpertEye automatically generates an AI Report containing:

  • Screenshots and photos

  • Videos and audio

  • Annotations and transcripts

  • A chronological timeline of your intervention

You can then review, edit, and share the report with your team — or let Merlin help you retrieve and reuse the information later.
