Use the chat

The XpertEye Chat feature allows you to exchange messages with your caller before, during, or after a conference, making it easy to share quick updates or additional details in real-time.

How to use the Chat feature:

  1. To begin a chat session, select an online contact from the Contacts tab. The display will automatically switch to the Chat tab.
  2. Type your message and click the send icon to send it. When a message is received, the recipient will hear an audible notification.

 

Key features:

  • The chat history is displayed beneath the contact name and remains available until the user closes the XpertEye session.
  • You can download chat conversations after the call ends by enabling the appropriate setting in the Settings menu, End of call options.
  • When receiving a chat message, a clickable notification will appear, allowing you to open the chat window directly.
  • You can disable chat notifications in the Settings menu.

This feature ensures seamless communication alongside video calls, whether for quick notes, clarifications, or follow-ups.
