My smart glasses connected to the computer are not detected

If your smart glasses are not detected by your computer, follow these steps to identify and resolve the issue:

1. Check the USB cable

  • The USB cable might be defective or only capable of charging without data transmission.
  • Use a data-enabled USB cable (USB-C or micro-USB) and ensure it is in good condition.
  • Connect the micro USB cable to the battery side of the glasses.
  • If the issue persists despite changing the cable, move to the next step.

2. Restart the smart glasses

  • A service in the glasses may have started improperly or failed.
  • Restart the glasses to resolve this issue.
  • If restarting doesn’t solve the problem, proceed to the next step.

3. Check the USB driver initialization

  • The issue might be due to a problem initializing the USB driver between your computer and the glasses.
  • Try plugging the device into a different USB port on your computer.
  • Alternatively, connect another device to the same port to ensure the port is functional, then reconnect the glasses.

4. Verify USB debugging mode

  • USB debugging mode must be enabled for the device to communicate with your computer. Follow these steps to check and enable it, use the following voice commands:

    1. My programs

    2. Settings

    3. Say "Page down" (to access About device)
